Let me be clear Steem is not perfect but is fine for what it is; a social media blockchain platform. Do you want to post stuff and earn some crypto? Then Steem is great! Would I go out and buy 1000 dollars worth of Steem? Not unless I needed to grow my social media foot print. It's all about what you want to accomplish.

I own EOS and like the project but I do have some fears. They raised a lot of money and I wanted to see amazing DAPS... yesterday. Regardless, they have a great team and a fast blockchain. Only time will tell.

I hate this project. They hold half their tokens. It's not decentralized and they are teaming up with banks. Why do I need a bank if I have quality crypto?

I have been following this project for over a year. It is not shady. They went from ICO and have a mainnet running. The masternode system works. The team makes updates on a regular basis. They are on multiple exchanges. The team is also very accessible and it is not hard to get answers on their telegram channel.
