Credits has in fact left MUCH off of the github, YES. But, as a Dev myself, I have done same, and I have worked on AAA projects. So this is no means to offer neg response.

Credits was originally dev to increase Tx speed and thruput. While on "stresstest" it was a success. They realize that real world use case is far diff.
Credits has been affirmed and confirmed to be IBM dev team of choice
I NVR expect 99% of these coins to be viable as "currency" in the future. unless these tokens are run on a Blockchain that has real world saturation.
EXPECT that Blockchains will be developed and designed by 10yr olds in next gen, just as we view websites today.
So, be sure to understand the intended use case of a coin, before calling it a scam or shady.
Of COURSE, many scammers exist in this space, and this will pass. Just as Old West had scammers and train robbers when fiat was 1st introduced to replace gold.

This project was initially highly criticized by Ivanontech because of its lack of transparency in publishing the source code on Github, which increased the potential of it being a supershady project. As of recently Ivan seemed to have been more favorable (less unfavorable) towards the project, because he even did a (sponsored) tutorial about coding on the project. He did say that he thought the transparency
