It doesn't get more obvious than this! So far they have been operating as a regular database and not a blockchain at all. Promises of launching a real blockchain so far haven't been fulfilled. Interesting interview by Ivanontech with one of the whistleblowers of OneCoin.

Beware, especially newbies, this con game is still running despite all publicity, cease and desist orders

My family in Europe bought these coins without asking me.... they were scammed :(

Just recently the founder of OneCoin was arrested in LAX for scamming people out of millions! Good riddance OneCoin!

And for those that still aren't convinced, there have been recent developments with regards to One Coin: FBI has arrested one of the ringleaders recently. Apparently One coin didn't even bother to launch an actual blockchain or even an ERC20 token, instead they just used an SQL, so much for the "revolutionary" cryptocurrency. Even Bitconnect at least had their own blockchain (I believe).

Not much to add either, as this was already long time confirmed. But nevertheless surprising to read that people are still falling for this. Avoid like the plague!

Massive confirmed pyramid/ponzi scheme. Still noobs all over the world are apparently still falling for it. I won't write too much about this expect drop a few links from respected sources that should help convince you that it is a shady ponzi:
