I haven't purchased my cold card yet. It is a sophisticated hardware wallet that allows for offline transaction signing through a skeletal Electrum wallet, communicated by placing the Tx on a MicroSD card. It is capable of restoring seed words of varying lengths created by other wallets. The very common BIP 39 - 24 word recovery seed.

I'm most interested in exploring Click here to see more... the xpub export feature in which payments and addresses can be saved to a microSD card.

I feel this wallet is good for a slightly advanced Bitcoin user. It is open source, and the hardware is vertically integrated, assembled in house by Coldcard. The board is has circuitry encapsulated in epoxy that protects against physical vector attacks. This is pretty much the state of the art Bitcoin wallet at present. I will purchase one eventually and comment on use. To date I have only used Trezor One & Model T
