One of the obvious exit scams promising unrealistically high daily/monthly profits. To be more specific here: Their official Twitter bio reads "Earn 15-25% interest for your investment monthly". Their official website ( has already gone down.

I came across this project just a few days ago and I was pretty curious to learn more about it. At first sight, the website looked pretty appealing, I have to say. Out of pure curiosity, I decided to register my account and see what StakedWallet has to offer. I verified my email address and logged in. When it comes to the content of the website, there was no team section, no KYC/AML requirements, no partnerships and integrations, no whitepaper. Only a 12-page presentation with misrepresented information. Support only via email. There were also many other red flags: 0% fee, unrealistically high profits (72%+ per year), deceptive info regarding the market situation ("In 2020 StakedWallet occupied 12% of Proof-of-Stake Market") and future outlook for market growth ("In 2020-2022 market will grow by 110% according to the independent research companies") etc. The website is not accessible as of now... I also tried to download their app from Google Play but wasn't able to log in. I already flagged it as inappropriate (not because I couldn't log in but for obvious scammy character of the whole StakedWallet project). Well, I hope that not many people fell for this fraud... Coffee Wallet

Review Date: April 21, 2020 08:02:30

I downloaded this multi-coin wallet to my Android phone almost a week ago after I learnt that, ChangeNOW, my favorite crypto exchanger service had been integrated into it. It's a non-custodial wallet so you own your private keys and you can (and should) backup your 12-word BIP39 recovery passphrase. The UI is brownish (as you'd probably expect, given the name of the wallet) and I have no problem with that. As of now, there are 2 options in the "quick exchange" section: ChangeNOW and Changelly. I have to say that I have not tried this feature yet. When it comes to supported assets, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that Monero is also included besides widespread cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, LTC or ERC20 tokens. Another thing I like about Coffee Wallet is the possibility to choose from multiple price sources: CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap and coinpaprika, with more coming in the future. You can also choose from many fiat currencies (40+ as of now). Coffee Wallet has its own ERC20 utility token - Coffee Token (CFT) - and after I finished some several on-boarding tasks, I managed to receive some. The whitepaper reads "CFT tokens will allow holders to participate in project by voting on features, buy an ad inside of the app and pay for premium features". When it comes to cons, I have to say that texts (titles, descriptions, instructions) are needlessly small by default and settings menu lacks the option to make it larger.

This one is probably the first accountless crypto exchanger which I came across back in 2017. If you are a privacy-loving soul, you have to appreciate the fact that there are exactly 0 trackers on the main web page. You read it right: no 3rd party cookies, no social media trackers, and even no Google Analytics (!). Don't believe me? You don't have to. Just check the uBlock Origin count or, better, the website's source code and see for yourself. I have overall positive experience with Flypme in terms of exchange time, rates and success of my swaps. The response time from the support team was always great and I got the right help/answers too. There are currently 30+ coins/tokens to choose from. You cannot buy crypto with fiat here tho (you can do that elsewhere). One of the reasons I sticked with Flypme for a long time is that it had (and still has) its own profit-sharing ERC20 token - FYP Token. If you hold sufficient amount of FYP during the so-called "snapshot time", you are entitled to get 50% of Flypme's profits in ETH. I used to hold FYP tokens in the past just for this purpose and I received all my payouts correctly. Flypme also offers its API for services such as e-commerce sites, cryptocurrency wallets, payment gateways, crypto startups and other websites. Now when it comes to cons of the service, I'd mention rather limited communication by Flypme team both via social media and the official Telegram group chat.

Soon it will have been exactly 2 years since my first crypto swap I made via ChangeNOW and I've made dozens of them, all successfully. ChangeNOW is a non-custodial service, so you don't have to worry about your exchanged funds. KYC is not required, however, if your particular exchange is marked suspicious by ChangeNOW's automated risk prevention system, you will be asked to confirm your identity. As far as I am concerned, I've never needed to undergo this procedure. ChangeNOW boasts with 200+ coins available and offers fixed & floating rate flows. There's also the option to buy crypto with a bank card: VISA or Mastercard (powered by Simplex). When I need a help, the team is always reachable via email, website ticketing system (powered by Zendesk) or Telegram. The company has introduced multiple interesting products over time: - Token Swap (token migration service) - NOWPayments (crypto payment gateway with 30+ supported coins) - Lightning NOW (zero-fee public Lightning Network node) - Premium Lounge (VIP service for valued members; currently in beta) - NOW Nodes (access to nodes of 17 different blockchains through RPC) - Telegram Bot (Love Telegram? Me too. 😎 I tried exchanging crypto using this TG bot and all went smooth for me. It can be accessed at For website admins and online marketers ChangeNOW offers API and Referral Program (ref link, widgets & buttons are all available). Oh, I almost forgot! ChangeNOW allows users to exchange small amounts of certain coins (I haven't find something similar elsewhere, trust me). Small means as low as $2 equivalent. (!)

One of the crypto-related mobile apps that has occupied my storage for the longest period of time. It's easy to use, with good UI and several handy built-in features such as exchanges (Changelly and Total Swap) and ability to buy crypto either with credit card (powered by Simplex) or gift card (Bidali). Good thing is that it supports hierarchical deterministic wallets so you can use different address for every transaction as a privacy-enhancing measure.

Genesis Mining

Review Date: January 22, 2020 12:34:10

I bought two 2-year mining contracts with Genesis Mining in Sept. 2017 (yes, the hyperbullish year). First contract type was Ethereum mining (Ethash) with mining power 2 MH/s and the second was Zcash mining (Equihash) with mining power 100 H/s. Back then, the global Ethereum hashrate was 100 TH/s and the global Zcash hashrate was 340 MH/s. It was basically my little experiment with cloud mining. No big deal. Over time, I have sold my entire accumulated stack from both contracts. Was it profitable for me? No, it wasn't. The market situation has developed as it has developed. I cannot blame GM for that b/c I was getting my payouts. GM is legit, no scam, if you ask me. They also offer affiliate program (you are provided with a unique affiliate link and various gif banners that are immediately available for use). Referral rewards should be paid out in BTC. I am giving GM 3 stars b/c I have experienced some glitches with payouts, my "Activity" page stopped showing my mining payouts less than a month after I bought my contracts, and the overall UI & UX deserves a substantial overhaul.

I've been using MyCointainer for about 10 months. Pros: Nice & clean web interface, decent assortment of stakeable coins, 2FA for increased security (via Google Authenticator, Authy or similar app), great support (chat, email), constantly updated blog (, no minimum/maximum deposit limit. Some may also consider MC being regulated by FIU & licensed in Estonia another pro as well. Cons: As you'd might expect, you don't have access to private keys of wallets where your assets are stored. ("Not your keys, not your coins.") MyCointainer is basically a custodian of your funds. However, as MC's FAQ page reads, "whenever possible our assets are stored in cold wallets. Also, in case of emergency we have prepared SAFU (Secure Asset Fund for Users)." As far as I am concerned, nothing bad happened to me so far, all deposits/withdrawals/rewards were processed correctly.

Together with CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko, CoinPaprika is among my TOP 3 crypto aggregator sites. I just love their simplistic web interface (day/night mode also available) with all types of valuable info about coins and tokens. They released their own app for iOS recently (Dec 2019), called COINS, with an Android version supposedly coming soon. Cryptocurrency Converter Calculator, free and feature-packed API, and Request Form are all on the website too.

CoinGecko is one of my go-to's for crypto-related data. It not only covers price aspects of cryptoassets (such as market caps, trading volumes, ATHs prices) but it also offers developer & community stats, links to block explorers, wallets, community websites, source code, price converters (to/from a fiat currency of your choice) and comparison with similar coins (also with whichever one you want). As of today (Jan 15th, 2020) CoinGecko is monitoring 6.5k+ (!) coins and 400+ exchanges (many of which I couldn't find on CoinMarketCap or other similar websites). Other great tools & resources by CoinGecko to consider: - Free daily (MON-FRI) email newsletter covering the latest crypto news, updates, and reports (I am subcribed, ofc) - Free and publicly available crypto API & widgets. Services that are using CoinGecko API include well-known wallets, block explorers, data aggregators and platforms. Just to name a few: Trezor, MetaMask, MyEtherWallet, Trust Wallet, Electrum, Etherscan, Blockchair or DappRadar. - Cryptocurrency Exchange Ranking by Trust Score (TS was first introduced in May 2019 to combat the alarming trend of exchanges reporting fake trading volume) - Completely free quarterly reports in PDF format (also a very handy resource for crypto enthusiasts like me) - Apps for iOS and Android - Blockchain/Crypto Events Calendar - CoinGecko Blog

Brave Rewards

Review Date: January 20, 2020 11:47:42

I started testing Brave Rewards with my mobile app for Android and VPN set to countries such as US, Canada, UK & France (first markets for Brave Ads). I set the amount of ads to the max (5 per hour) and I was getting ads regularly (topics ranging from global VPN services to a pizza delivery service). I managed to accumulated more than 100 BAT tokens so far and I also tried to tip my favorite content creators which worked fine. So the ecosystem works. Just now I installed Brave for Linux and will check if I'll be getting ads for my actual country of residence (Central Europe). Generally, I prefer using privacy respecting services and Brave made an exceptional product in the field of web monetization solutions that respects my privacy and allows both content creators and content consumers be rewarded with valuable ERC20 tokens. Good job, Brave.

I love LBRY. It is open-source, censorship-resistant, already with multiple crypto content creators that I know from YouTube. Also, the app allows me to earn $LBC for my interactions on the platform. :)

Ledger Nano

I use the Ledger Nano S with Ledger Live (both desktop and mobile versions are available). Secure, with a solid reputation, relatively easy to use. Never tried hardware wallets from other manufacturers though...

Satowallet Shares

Review Date: February 25, 2020 16:11:08

In the original Satowallet Investment Paper, Satowallet Shares were described as a capped blockchain asset of Satowallet (strictly limited to 10,000,000 SATOS) which would give its holders several benefits, profit sharing being one that appealed to me the most: SATOS holders would be receiving 40% monthly dividends from Satowallet exchange fees in proportion to their SATOS stored on the platform. 20% of trading fees would go to referrals, while the remaining 40% would go to Satowallet Company. I used to have some SATOS in my custodial wallet up until the point the company behind the project allegedly pulled off an exit scam. You can learn more about the case on TNW, IBT, Finance Magnates or CryptoVest. Just type "Satowallet scam" to your preferred search engine. Since SW was a custodial wallet and I didn't have access to my private keys, I lost my SATOS and several other cryptocurrencies on top of that (luckily, relatively small amounts).
